Back in April, MedCity News reporter Meghana Keshavan was part of the team that won MIT Hacking Medicine’s GrandHack. This week, she reflected on the experience and gave an update on the progress of the winning project, an end-of-life planning app now called Cake.
Keshavan hasn’t been involved in the day-to-day development of the startup, but Suelin Chen and Harvard palliative care physician Dr. Mark Zhang have. The three will join MedCity News leader Chris Seper Friday at 4 p.m EST on the final live MedHeads broadcast of 2015.
The panel will discuss their startup’s journey, as well as what others can learn about hackathons through that journey. Join us via the YouTube embed below, or on our Google Hangout On Air page.
With the Rise of AI, What IP Disputes in Healthcare Are Likely to Emerge?
Munck Wilson Mandala Partner Greg Howison shared his perspective on some of the legal ramifications around AI, IP, connected devices and the data they generate, in response to emailed questions.
As always, we will take the topics seriously, but we won’t take ourselves too seriously. We also take our holidays seriously. With the next two Fridays being Christmas and New Year’s Day, this is your last chance to see MedHeads live until Jan. 8.
