Remote monitoring, addiction recovery part of Blueprint Health’s latest accelerator class

Blueprint Health said that 85 percent of its portfolio companies are generating revenue.

Blueprint HealthBlueprint Health, a New York based healthcare startup accelerator, has launched its ninth cohort. It includes a mix of interests including coordination of home care employees, addiction recovery follow-up, behavioral health and medication management. The accelerator also revealed that 85 percent of its 77 portfolio companies are generating revenue.

Blue Mesa Health wants to compete with the likes of Omada Health. It developed a digital diabetes prevention platform called Transform to help people deemed at risk for developing the disease. It sees its approach as a way to help employers cut healthcare costs.

HealthKick Provides small and medium-sized employers with curated perks for branded health and wellness services for employees and charges $5 per participating employee per month.

NexHealth wants to cut doctor appointment no-shows through its mobile appointment booking and reminder platform for doctor’s offices and hospitals. Patients can use it to book and change appointments on their smartphones. It charges practices a monthly subscription fee of $200.

PatientPrep seeks to increases physician productivity by using a questionnaire to gather relevant clinical information from patients prior to their appointment.

Rappora streamlines the coordination, management and time tracking of home care employees through an app. The app allows home care agency owners and operators to track the work hours of home care workers employed by an agency down to the minute, according to the company. At the end of an accounting period, the app can help tally time sheets for all workers, produce detailed reports, and manage payroll. Rappora charges an average of $10,000 per year for a 100-patient agency.

SimplifiMed Provides medication management support for accountable care organizations. Its solution prompts patients on a regular basis to summarize their active medications, through a smart phone camera photo. The SimplifiMed team uses the data to build accurate and up-to-date medication lists for each ACO patient.

Wellsbi set up a digital advisory platform distributed through  employers with staff of 200 or less. Its goal is to help individuals get educated and organized around all things related to their health insurance benefits to become more informed healthcare consumers, according to the company.
