It was subsequently lambasted for this by a Bloomberg article and by a subsequent petition from BioCentury. Looks like these wrist slaps have resonated with the firm.
It’s working now to improve the lack of gender diversity in the life sciences industry – partnering with organizations like Women in Bio and Girls Inc. of New York City that provide mentorship and potential advancement to women in the STEM fields.

It’s set up a formal advisory board on gender diversity, made up of both men and women that will counsel LifeSci Advisors on ways to empower women. Let’s see if this works – and next year’s J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference after parties have a bit more gender equality. LifeSci Advisors’ forthcoming party will certain have a different vibe.
