STURGEON BAY, Wisconsin — Surgical products manufacturer Parcus Medical LLC has raised $1.3 million in equity, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The company, which sells surgical devices including screws, suture anchors, screw drivers and guide wires, is looking to raise $2 million.
Parcus was founded in 2006 by Wisconsin-native Mark Brunsvold. Brunsvold previously started three companies, including one in the medical device manufacturing business, according to the Door County Economic Development Corp.

Previously, Parcus raised $3.7 million from a total of 17 investors, according to a 2008 regulatory filing. However, $1.1 million of that came from a “non-cash” contribution of equipment, intellectual property and “other assets” from Brunsvold.
Brunsvold didn’t immediately return a call.
