The chief executive of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio has been appointed to NEOUCOM’s board of trustees.
Daisy Alford-Smith becomes the 11th public member of the Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacies‘ board, according to a statement from the organization. Alford-Smith was appointed by Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland. Her term begins immediately.
Other jobs that Alford-Smith has held include director of the Cleveland Department of Public Health, director of the Summit County Department of Jobs and Family Services and director of the Center for Urban & Minority Health at Case Western Reserve University.
