Medical education company Simbionix USA Corp. has added two board members who are also investors in the company.
Glen Mayfield of Cincinnati-based River Cities Capital Funds, which invested in Simbionix in 2008, brings more than 40 years of private equity and banking experience to the board, according to a statement.
The second new board member is Raanan Cohen, chief executive of Koor Industries Ltd., an Israeli investment firm.

The two new board members replace Murray Wilson and Didi Paz. It’s unclear how many people serve on Simbionix’s board. A company representative didn’t immediately return a call.
Simbionix sells surgery simulation systems that use computer screens and software attached to medical instruments to train surgeons and other medical professionals how to do minimally invasive procedures like examine a lung with an endoscope and implant a brain stent or heart pacemaker.
Last month, it launched its first mobile simulation products, which are designed for the iPhone and iPad. The company is also developing applications for other mobile platforms, including Blackberry and Android.
