MinnPost will publish MedCity News articles — primarily about Minnesota topics — on www.minnpost.com. Cleveland-based MedCity News has an office in Minneapolis, where former Star Tribune reporter Thomas Lee writes about the medical industry in Minnesota.

MinnPost has distinguished itself for thoughtful journalism in the region. The MedCity News syndication agreement deepens our reach and influence here. It especially enhances our dialogue with thought leaders and decision-makers so critical to the success of medical device, life sciences, biobusiness and medtech companies. I’m delighted to be able to offer sponsorships and space on both websites,” said Tom Sweeney, who handles business development for MedCity News in Minnesota.

“We are excited to enhance our business news report with MedCity News because the medical industry is a critical component of the Minnesota economy, and Thomas Lee, MedCityNews Minnesota bureau chief, does an excellent job covering that beat,” said Joel Kramer, editor and CEO of MinnPost.com.

MedCity News also has syndication agreements with the Ohio News Network, Akron Beacon Journal and WKYC-TV, among others.

MinnPost is a not-for-profit, member-supported enterprise providing high-quality journalism for people who care about Minnesota. Launched in November 2007, MinnPost currently has more than 40,000 readers who visit the site at least twice a month.
