A company that’s developed voice-driven work flow and documentation software for endoscopic surgery centers has hired a new CEO.
Trent McCracken, who has a background in telecommunications software, becomes chief executive of Cincinnati-area eMerge Health Solutions, according to a statement from the company.
eMerge’s software uses a patent-pending voice recognition system to document intraoperative procedures in real time. The software’s work flow is built to follow that of an endoscopic procedure and make implementation easier for gastroenterology groups, and also reduce the need for customization, according to the company.

At that time, the company was touting the recent hire of another CEO, Alex Vidas.
