CAIRO (Reuters) – The Egyptian authorities are investigating the cause of death of a person suspected of being infected with coronavirus, state TV reported on Monday, quoting a health ministry official.
The report on Nile News said a person suspected of infection with the virus had died, but the cause had yet to be confirmed.
The Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus emerged in the Middle East in 2012 and is from the same family as the SARS virus.
