Active investors chose Healthy Young Minds as the Pitch Perfect winner at the INVEST Digital Health Conference in Dallas. See how the company's CEO accepted the award.

MedCity News’s one-day INVEST Digital Health conference took place in Dallas on Wednesday, concluding with an exciting startup contest, this year, featuring six pediatric mental health startups.  They were: Healthy Young Minds, Gramercy Consulting, futuresThrive, AcuteXR, Cognilift.ai, Troomi.

The judges were: Dan Easton, Principal, Unorthodox Ventures; Erica Murdock, Managing Director, Unseen; and Stephen Hays, Founder, What If Ventures. The three judges chose Healthy Young Minds as the winner. According to the company:

Healthy Young Minds is a Pediatric Behavioral and Mental Telehealth Co serving 0-21 years addressing 80+ conditions including: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Developmental Delays, Substance Abuse to name a few of the most common conditions with Counseling, Testing and Diagnosing, Speech, Occupational, ABA, Art and Music Therapy in a collaborative care model. HYM is unique in focusing on the drastically underserved Medicaid market. HYM has many commercial insurer contracts but by focusing on Medicaid for over three years, has created a very large barrier to entry and lead in addressing the extremely fragmented and largest untapped market. With 50% gross margins and massive venture returns on the horizon, HYM is doing very well by doing good for the most underserved and desperate populations in the country.

Here’s how Paul Graf, founder and CEO of Healthy Young Minds reacted when he was announced the winner on Wednesday evening in Dallas:
