Allison Oakes, PhD is a Senior Researcher on the Enterprise Health Services Research Team in the Enterprise Analytics Hub at Anthem. Her research interests center around the measurement and improvement of health care quality and value. Specifically, she studies how varying financial, behavioral, and organizational factors influence the delivery of evidence-based and low-value care. Her work has been published in JAMA, Health Affairs, the New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst, the Journal of General Internal Medicine, and BMJ Quality & Safety. Dr. Oakes holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Health Services Research & Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
