Dave Watrous, Strategy Director, BioPharma Lifecycle Management at IDBS, brings over 20 years of experience to the IDBS team. His career spans roles from the bench to leading operational and commercial teams in the CDMO, CRO and Life Science tools markets. Beyond his prior experience with Cytiva as an Executive Director of Global Strategic Partnerships and at Covance, where he was a Senior Director of Business Development, he also has a passion for service to the industry. For 6 years, he served on the Board of BioForward, an affiliate of BIO, PhRMA, and Advamed in the U.S. He also served on the Board of the Midwest Chapter of LRIG (Lab Robotics and Research Innovation Group) for 8 years. Dave holds a BSc in Biochemistry and in Genetics, Cell Biology and Development from the University of Minnesota and an MSc in Cancer Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
