Luke serves as the Director of Operations and Population Health Management for Children’s Mercy Kansas City. He provides leadership and professional management services in operations, information technology, analytics, quality/cost improvement, and strategy within Children’s Mercy Integrated Care Solutions (CMICS). Luke has been with Children's Mercy Kansas City since 2014.
Luke has over 10 years of operations, strategy, and information technology experience in healthcare. Prior to joining Children's Health Network, Luke served as the Director of Business Intelligence for Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, one of the nation's first multi-system, clinically integrated accountable care networks with five health systems, an academic medical center and over 100 independent practices. In this role, Luke was responsible for the implementation and optimization of the network's systems and tools for population management and care coordination. Prior to transitioning into healthcare services, Luke was a supply chain manager and operations engineer for the nation's largest manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products. Luke has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
