Steve Griffiths is the Senior Vice President and COO of Optum Enterprise Analytics where he leads collaboration across teams to build Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technology capabilities for health plans, systems and physician practices. With more than 20 years’ experience in health analytics management, Steve’s main focus is to drive growth and innovation to help organizations meet the challenges of value-based care. Steve has a master’s degree in biostatistics from the University of Washington, and a PhD in health services research, policy and administration from the University of Minnesota.
Current applications of AI may not be as robust and sexy as how we imagine artificial intelligence in the future. They are, however, practical methods that are improving health care delivery and operations now.
