BioOhio Annual Conference to visit three Ohio cities

This fall, BioOhio will hold its Annual Conference in three regions on three different dates. “Innovation Road Show” will visit northeast Ohio on September 28, central Ohio on October 28, and southwest Ohio on November 17. At all three sites, the emphasis will be on biomedical innovation — defining it, discussing it, debating it, and understanding how essential it is from R&D through commercialization to market. Ample networking time will be available for Ohio’s bioscience innovators to share ideas and initiate collaborations.

Mayo Clinic hosts ‘Transform2010’ on Sept. 12-14

The Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation will host “Transform2010:Thinking Differently about Health Care,” the third annual collaborative symposium aimed at changing the way health care is experienced and delivered, on Sept. 12-14 in Rochester, Minn. Transform2010 will feature 35 internationally recognized speakers who are transforming health care by applying innovation, design thinking, and other bold creative approaches. Their talks will cover themes including Health for All, Emerging Communities, Making Good Decisions, Designing Health, New World-New Technologies, and Designing Transformative Business for Health.
