William A. (Bill) Burns currently serves as the Vice President of Vertical Markets at Cohesity and is directly responsible for the oversight and coordination of all Health & Life Sciences industry-related activities for the company. Previously, Bill served as an executive advisor and vice-chairman on Healthcare data modernization with the Department of Health & Human Services (USA) to two presidential administrations. Bill also served as a founding committee member of the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) published by the Health Level Seven International (HL7) Healthcare standards organization.
