Aiming to make picking a plan easier, the federal government, which runs the marketplaces in roughly two-thirds of states, is encouraging insurers to offer “simple choice plans” as an option this fall.
In addition, HHS is focusing on outreach efforts to get those still uninsured — especially younger and healthier individuals — to enroll when the marketplaces open on Nov. 1.
