There have been 13,268 reported Ebola cases in eight affected countries since the outbreak began, with 4,960 reported deaths, according to the World Health Organization. Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone have been hit the worst.

Spencer’s praise for how the early detection in his case is what saved his life, saying the protocols in place in NYC were as they should be. This conflicts with what Kaci Hickox has been saying, although she tested negative for the virus. The mandatory quarantines violated her civil rights, she says.
