NeuroFlow will be a finalist for the Health 2.0 VentureConnect competition at HIMSS2019. CEO Chris Molaro will present to the “biggest and most active investors in health tech” on February 13. It will also serve as a pitch competition for some of the most promising health tech startups in the country.

VitalTrax has rebranded and is now PatientWing. The company, which developed a patient enrollment platform to provide online listing and promotion of clinical trials, seeks to fill every clinical trial by matching patients with the most appropriate trials. It recently joined the StartUp Health Academy.

Somatix, a provider of a wearable-assisted, gesture detection remote patient monitoring platform, has appointed Charles K. Herman, M.D. as Chief Medical Officer. He brings over a decade of experience in a highly respected and successful health system as well as in healthcare consulting
and innovation. Herman serves as Chief Medical Executive in the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania, where he is involved in business development, strategy, and clinical value analysis across its Pocono campuses.

“I look forward to joining this capable leadership team. I believe that Somatix’s vision and innovative approach will become a critical tool for monitoring patients across the continuum of care,” said Herman. “Working with a revolutionary company like Somatix allows me to leverage my medical experience and
business expertise in the fields of advanced digital health and machine learning.”
