Tegan Mead began her career in clinical research in 2014, working as a Clinical Operations Manager at PMG Research. She has served in various roles across the site enterprise, including operational leadership, feasibility management and operational excellence, with most of her career centered on clinical operations execution, development, and growth. She has been with Javara since 2018 in numerous operational leadership roles, currently serving as the Senior Director of Operational Excellence. Prior to her start in clinical research, Tegan dedicated 7 years of service in the United States Air Force as a flight nurse and earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration degree from University of Phoenix.
We must engage, train and support more physicians as investigators to enable the opportunity for their patients to have access to clinical trials. As an industry, we should be adding anywhere from 10% to 20% new investigators every year to meet the patient access needs for clinical trials.
