Arundhati Parmar (aparmar@medcitynews.com) is vice president and editor-in-chief at MedCity News. In this role, she is in charge of editorial content appearing on MedCityNews.com and the live programming at MedCity’s several annual conferences that MedCity. Arundhati enjoys reporting herself and writes on a variety of healthcare topics, in addition to editing contributed content. She welcomes any tips and scoops you may want to send her way.

Stephanie Baum, Director, Special Projects

Stephanie Baum (sbaum@medcitynews.com) is the Director of Special Projects with MedCity News. In this role, she works with the research and business development teams across Breaking Media to produce insightful reports and build relationships across the healthcare ecosystem. As the longest-serving writer for MedCity News, she has covered startups across digital health, medtech, and biotech, as well as healthcare investment trends. Stephanie has worked in media for 25 years in a career that’s included public radio, AAAS, Associated Press Radio, The Christian Science Monitor, Dow Jones, ALM’s The Legal Intelligencer and United Business Media.

Elise Reuter, Reporter

Elise Reuter (ereuter@medcitynews.com) is a reporter at MedCity News covering insurance and digital health. She has covered health care and technology for her career, which included reporting for the San Diego Business Journal and the Kansas City Business Journal. Originally from Colorado, she enjoys hiking, skiing and watching KU basketball in her free time.

Anuja Vaidya, Reporter

Anuja Vaidya (avaidya@medcitynews.com) is a reporter at MedCity News covering innovation and IT at hospitals and payers. She previously covered clinical leadership and healthcare quality at Becker’s Hospital Review. She earned an undergraduate degree in English literature at St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi, India, and completed her master’s degree at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She enjoys reading, watching the latest TV shows and attending live theater in her spare time.

Frank Vinluan, Senior Biopharma Reporter

Frank Vinluan is a longtime business journalist with a particular focus on biotechnology. Most recently, he was a senior editor at Xconomy where he wrote and edited stories about a wide range of topics including cancer immunotherapy, cell and gene therapies, gene editing technologies, and rare disease drugs. Before moving into biotech journalism, Frank held business reporting positions at The Des Moines Register and The Seattle Times. He wrote his first clinical trials story as a staff reporter at the Triangle Business Journal. Frank is currently an independent contributor to several life sciences industry publications and websites.
