The Michigan-based payer has partnered with Socially Determined, ConsejoSano and Aunt Bertha to create a social determinants of health initiative that will identify members in need, engage them using culturally aligned strategies and connect them to community resources and services.
As demand for telehealth grew, payers accelerated their development of telehealth-first plans. Now that several have launched, it is clear that bringing these plans to market requires added effort on the part of payers, but they are here to stay.
