The presidential race. President Barack Obama’s reelection. The Supreme Court’s decision on the Affordable Care Act. These are some of the events that have defined 2012. And then there are the memes like ridiculously photogenic guy, the Ryan Gosling “hey girl” healthcare reform musings, Hillary Clinton’s “Justin Bieber text,” Olympic gymnast silver medalist crossed-arm frown and the multiple interpretations of Gangnam Style, all of which generated millions of views on YouTube, Tumblr and Facebook.

As a holiday tribute, a Canadian digital healthcare marketing company is quizzing followers on their meme knowledge in a video packed with employees reenacting their favorite viral videos and memes.

Klick Health‘s vice president of strategy Peter Flaschner said the company spent six weeks on the video, transforming its boardroom into a green screen staging area. The editor “worked his ass off,” according to Flaschner, and it shows. The video is packed with activity in the foreground and background. I spotted about five, but altogether there are about 220. Winners stand to win some Apple bling like a Macbook Air or an iPad Mini or a trip to the destination of their choice. The deadline for entry is Jan. 13.
