Start up in style: Last night, Pharrell performed at the YPlan launch party. The company has created an app to book tickets for concerts and events (not exactly groundbreaking territory).
ValleyWag reports the pricetag for such a major act is somewhere between $250,000 and $500,000. But Pharrell is a shareholder and adviser to the company, so that helps for a price break. After all, startups have to keep their budgets in mind. (Ashton Kutcher’s A-Grade Investments also has invested in the company.)
Now if only digital health apps could get their hands on some A-list celebs. . . .
