Could Orphan Black redeem itself in attracting lost healthcare viewers next season?

Some of us almost wrote off Orphan Black because the plot got too whacky and dramatic, but the brief trailer released for Season 4 is undoubtedly intriguing.

BBC America’s Orphan Black initially drew the attention of those interested in science fiction and healthcare with its cloning-centered plot in the first three seasons.

But it got a little ridiculous.

Sure it was entertaining, but the drama and even some humorous plot lines made it hard to take it too seriously when it comes to potential, somewhat realistic innovations. Season 4 is set to premiere in April, and although the incredibly fictional, creepy-factor seems to still be in full force, this new trailer makes it hard not to want to watch again. There also appears to be yet another sister clone, called M.K., who will be introduced into the mayhem (we wouldn’t have expected any less).

This brief eerie clip sets us up for some of the new exciting tech that looks to be incorporated in the next season. For those familiar with the series, I think we can assume this is the eye of a reemerging Rachel, but we never know with these writers.
